Software Tester / Application Support / Analyst

• 4 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry as a Software Tester in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Firm knowledge of different phases of Software Testing and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile Methodology, V-model and Waterfall.
• Experienced in Marine domain product, Finance, Inventory and Procurement software projects.
• Performed manual and automated testing using HP-Mercury tool like Quick Test Professional, Open source tool like Selenium – IDE, RC and Web-Driver.
• Experience in Web based testing including GUI Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Performance Testing, Stress Testing, Functional Testing and Unit Testing.
• Experienced in using preparing test automation frameworks, test plans, test case procedures,
test scripts, test reports and interaction with developers in fixing the errors.
• Experience in Manual Testing and Testing Methodologies. Experience in Stress Testing/ Performance Testing.
• Experience in Defect Management using ALM Tracking tool, Jira, You Track (Net Brains), SEP (In-house tool)
• Good Knowledge of Backend testing for validating database using SQL queries on SQL Server.
• Have excellent skills in VB scripting, written many re-usable VBScript functions to automation the application.
• Have excellent skills in Java OOPs concepts and writing Selenium scripts using Eclipse.
• Having good knowledge on JUnit and TestNG frameworks, writing logs, generating graphical reports for user understanding using build xml.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
• Good at multi-tasking and working well under tight deadlines with high efficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in analyzing User Requirements, Functional and Technical Specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, project management and problem solving skills.
